REMOVING TRACES OF PREVIOSLY INSTALLED PROGRAMS Empty REMOVING TRACES OF PREVIOSLY INSTALLED PROGRAMS

This information is only in my imagination, but I think this can help in removing the traces of previously installed programs in your computer.
So, why do we need to remove the tracks of previously installed programs/application/software.
My answer? So that the software publisher will not have anything left to conclude if you installed the software for the second time. Especially for softwares that have trial period or expiring on a certain date.

The following are my experimental techniques, so that those traces will be absolutely remove. Just don't mind of the consequences, especially for 'not so fast a computer'.

Note: I would consider that you already know, and already have uninstalled the program you want to install again.

1st Experimental Tech:

1. Go to regedit. Just click 'start' , then click 'run', then type 'regedit'. Without quotes of course.
2. Now, I would leave the rest to you. Just find the name of the software you want to remove in the registry. Then right-click it, then select delete.

Tip: Those registry values are not harmful when you remove them. Just dont overdo it. The registry values are always lurking in HKEY LOCAL MACHINE, HKEY CURRENT USER, and HKEY CLASSES ROOT, and HKEY USERS.
They're just under a universal value which is the 'software' value. Sometimes they are not, just be sure to find them all then try to restart your computer.

2nd Experimental Tech:

1. Click Start, then click run. Then type 'prefetch'. Once again without quotes.
2. Once the prefetch window/folder appears. Press Ctrl + A on your keyboard to highlight all of those files.
For those who do not know, the prefetch is the built-in performance capability of windows operating systems.
3. Press Shift + delete on your keyboard to delete all of those files. Don't worry, it will not do anything harmful. It will just increase the time you open, work, and close with your most used programs.
4. Restart your computer. Then try to install the program again. Of course, turn off your internet. Because its the universal way of software publishers to trace if you are using a crack/keygen on their product.
