PASSWORD PROTECT YOUR FLASH DRIVE(USB)

This article are for those who are hiding secrets on their flash drives, and does not want somebody to discover it.
But before you proceed, try to consider using WinRar.
For those who knows and is using winrar, Winrar can also be used to put password on files before compressing it.

Here's how(WINRAR):
1)Right click on the file for which u want the password to b put.
2)Click on "Add to Archive".
3)Then go to Advanced tab.
4)Click on set password...choose ny passwd.
5)Click ok.
6)A winrar file with ur filename will be created.
7)Next u may delete the original file,as u have now compressed it with a password.


Here's how(CRYPTAINER LE):
-Download cryptainer le here: http://www.brothersoft.com/cryptainer-le-free-encryption-software-22216.html
1.) Install cryptainer le on your computer.
2.) Open the shortcut on your desktop.
3.) Click on 'browse' then select your flash drive, it may be drive g: or f: or any other letter except c: and d:
4,) Rename the volume label if you want.
5.) Type the password you want. Make sure you listed or know your password very well.
6.) Check on the 'do not format the cryptainer volume' so that the application will not format your flash drive.
7.) Click on 'proceed creating cryptainer volume'.

-That's how it is.

Or you can also hide your files by making use of file attributes. Like: hidden, archive, read-only.
Here's how to do it:
1.)Right click on the file you want to hide, then select properties.
2.)On the attributes part, check 'hidden' then click apply.
3.)If you want to hide a folder and its contents. Do the same thing from step 1. Then select 'apply attributes to all folders and sub-folders and all files'. Then click apply.
